Zodiacpaw stalked carefully towards the mouse by a tree. She looked around quietly to see if it had an escape rote. Seeing that it didn't, the apprentices worries where if that mouse could climb trees. Getting as close as she could to it, she bounced at it once it looked and gave it a nip on the spine. Hearing another one, Zodiacpaw slowly stalked towards it. But before she got close enough, the mouse got her scent so it started to run. The little apprentice headed after it and snapped her teeth on the back as she tripped over her paws between to bushes and accidently fell into Treepaw, still holding the dead mouse in her jaws as she laid on the ground.

Aquafeather jumped through the trees and looked at her apprentice and then to Eagleswoop and gave a slight smile, guessing in her head that they were doing some hunting practice as well.

Redflame padded to the Training Hollow. "Okay Thunderpaw, your going to learn the Back-Kick today." He mewed getting behind the apprentice. "Explosive surprise move to catch opponent from behind. Judge opponent's distance from you carefully, then lash out with your back legs, taking all weight on your front paws." He instructed pushing Thunderpaw lightly but hard enough to make him lose his balance. "Your turn!"

Thunderpaw:
He watched his mentor close and lost his balanced as Redflame just hard enough pushed him and fell to the ground. Getting back up to his feet quickly, He thought of the way his mentor did it. After he did, he said it out loud to make sure he was getting it right as Thunderpaw did it,"So you jumped behind your opponent, Lash out your hind legs and put your weight on your front paws." He said slightly forgetting about the 'judge distance between'.

Blazepaw laid his squirrel down, and carefully scraped earth over it to hide it from any other predators. After turning back to his mentor, he sniffed the air. "Um..." he mewed. "That way," he said, flicking his tail in a western direction, it almost sounded like a question.

" Are you sure about that, Blazepaw. here's a tip, close your eyes and just focus on that one thing. Then tell me which direction it is in. " Eagleswoop told him as he sat down and curled his tail over his paws.

Feeling upset that he got it wrong, Blazepaw closed his eyes. "Um..." he said, focusing on that one thing, like Eageswoop had said, "That way...?" he mewed, flicking his tail towards a tree a few fox lengths away.

Eagleswoop nodded his head, " And which way is that way? " he said with an amused purr.

Foxpetal returned back to camp, Poppy seeds and Marigold tucked under her chin. She went straight towards her den and began organizing the herbs.
