Opening his mouth slightly, he caught trace of mouse, and squirrel. "Mouse, and squirrel, and..." he said thoughtfully, "And... thrush..." he finished. He spotted a squirrel on the other side of a bush, and ,crouching down, slowly stalked forward. With a quick and swift leap, he pinned the squirrel down, killing it instantly.
