Nightkit sat by herself. It felt like nobody wan ted to be her friend. She sighed, and carried on filing the mossball around.

(4 cats died, willowsong, lunapaw, lionpaw and birchsong, nightkit lost both her mothersvand nowbfeels as if it were her fault.)

Acekit padded out and her red eyes looking out. She looked at Nightkit."What is the matter?" she asked.

Nightkit ears folded to the back of her head. "Momma died, and it was my fault." She said, her pale yellow eyes tearing up again.

Acekit frowned."Its not your fault..." she licked her friends cheek.

Dawnfur saw the two kits whispering sadly. The she cat sighed dragging over a large rabbit " Are you two hungry?"

Nightkit shook her head, but she was stick thin and her chances of survival lessened if she didn't eat.
