Feralkit crouched low and slunk to the mossball, as if it was a mouse. She pounced on it. Feralkit batted the mossball back to Cougarpaw. She looked into the apprentice's eyes and got lost in them for a heartbeat. She looked away.

Tigerkit huffed beside Lionkit. He rolled onto his back. "Ugh! I'm sooooo bored!"

Brindlenose padded into camp with her catch. She headed to the nursery, and lay a mouse down for Graybird.
