Chevy still wandered the forest.

Chance wandered around until all she could smell was Chevy. The part that was convinced Arco was gone took over, and Chance sub-conciously yelled, "Chevy!"

"Chance?" Chevy said.

[Steffi.]

"Yes." She answered. Camella, deciding to be brave, called. "Emmela, and Cammy, too." Chance giggled at her daughter.

"I see. What brings you here?"

[Steffi.]

Chance bit her lip. "The absense of an important member of the herd..." she said. Camella looked up at Chevy. "Daddy is gone." she said to him quietly.

"I'm sorry to hear that." Chevy said.

[Steffi.]

Chance sighed. "He's not here. I've searched practically the whole island. He left... just like my first mate..." she looked at Amelia. "Milly, can you watch Cam for a minute?" she asked. Amelia pulled Camella to a different part of the field. "Chevy... I understand that you're upset with me for choosing Arco. I get why, too. And now I'm asking if you'll take me back." she looked at her two children. "Obviously, I'm doing something wrong with my mates, because every time I find someone that I truly love and have their foal, they leave. Disappear without an explanation. So I have two options. I could stay by myself and keep you safe on the island, or I can be a selfish person and have you while I can..." he eys started watering out of anger towards herself. "And I'm a selfish person. Because after I got Arco, I felt sick when I thought of you. Because I'm selfish and want you both..." the tears spilled down her face and she looked at the ground.

Chevy's eyes softened. He felt bad for the mare. He dared pressing his face against hers."You won't loose me."
