Badgerkit sat tall as Miraclekit was called up. He wanted so badly to become Badgerpaw. The young tom looked perfectly calm, besides the fact that his tail tip was twitching every so often. His eyes on his father he waited for his name to be called. Anticipation filled him.

Shadowpaw sat, watching the ceremony silently. She glared at Lightningstorm, disgusted. Wolfpaw was the same cat inside; he just looked different, and she judged him. Shadowpaw wrapped her tail tightly around her unsheathed claws as she listened to the unfinished ceremony. This was a sad day. She smiled at Miraclepaw, then Badgerkit, them looked at Soulstar.

Ghostfang blinked. He was sad for the poor apprentice, and it hurt him that Capturedpaw would never again be accepted by his clanmates, nor fully trusted. He smiled at Miraclepaw as she passed, and at Badgerkit as he stepped forward.

Capturedpaw lowered his head, bowing and returning to where he sat. The new name suited him perfectly, and he was glad that Soulstar understood him. He turned his massive head towards the three soon-to-be apprentices.

Stormfire stepped up eagerly. She after so many moons, had finally got her apprentice. Badgerpaw was overly eager and nearly head butted Stormfire as the two cats touched noses. He was pleased with his mentor choice. Lightningstorm cheered their names as her kits squeaked the names as best they could.

Miraclepaw laughed happily. She was an apprentice now! Her smile faded as she realised what was about to begin.

Stormfire yowled her new apprentices name and smiled at him. This apprentice was going to have to work hard and prove himself. She didn't go easy on any cat. She hated the idea of her clan mates being unable to defend themselves. Despite her attitude, Stormfire is fiercely loyal. (Something Badgerpaw wont pick up)
Lightningstorm pulled her kits close as the howling quieted. She knew what was c omingm they would have to leave and the minute they stepped outside the barrier her kits lives would be in danger.
Badgerpaw sat all proudly. The young tom to selffocused to realize what was coming.
