Nightwing walked over to Mapleshade. You were a good warrior, Mapleshade... She sat down away from the body of the queen, looking at her paws. Rest easy in Starclan.

Amberkit woke up in the nursery. She padded outside.

(Mapleshade died, Oliver has come to camp, yeah. That's that.))

Nightwing stretched, getting up and going over to Amberkit.

Amberkit looked at the body, then at Nightwing. "What happened?" She asked still staring at the body.

Nightwing shook her head. "I wasn't here when it happened, but Mapleshade... she's going to StarClan now." She meowed sadly to the kit. She straightened up. "Are- Are you hungry? Would you like a mouse or something?"

Amberkit shivered. "Um yes." She said looking at Mapleshade. "A small one." She added.

[xanthei]

Nightwing nodded, lifting herself up and going to the fresh kill pile, coming back with a tiny mouse. "Here you go." She mewed plainly, nudging the mouse towards Amberkit.
