Hollystar:

I watched as Snowfrost hurried towards me, I could see it in her eyes, she was very worried. "Yes, what is it? Is something wrong?" She sat down, "Yes, there seems to be sharp glass shards that are scattered here and there on the beach. They could become a threat, or of good use. But they have put Tawnykit in Iceshadow's den, I hope she doesn't get an infection." I thought for a moment, "I will go see these for myself, I will decide if they come of good use or not." The white she-cat nodded, then slipped back into the medicine cat's den. I walked out of camp, and there was more than just a few. As I continued walking, I was careful to watch my step. I then saw Ripplekit, staring in amazement at the beautiful sea glass. "Be careful were you step." I meowed, the small kit looked up, startled, but got the message that I gave her the permission to continue, so she looked back down at the beautiful shards of glass. Maybe I could use these... I thought I will sleep on it. At that decision, I turned around, and returned back to camp.

Iceshadow:

I walked in to see Greenfang. He looked horrible. Greenfang was throwing up now and then, he was also depressed and losing weight. I also noticed a bit of hair loss. He will sneeze, cough, have a runny nose or even develop a fever. I also noticed Greenfang's watery eyes and a raspy meow. I have never seen this before, and there was nothing more I could do for the poor warrior. My reputation for never loosing a cat was gone. I went outside, and walked over to Fernpelt, Greenfang's brother, and Bizzardstorm and Goldenblossom, Greenfang's closest friends. "I believe... I believe you would like to say your final goodbyes to Greenfang." I hesitated, "There is nothing more I can do for him." They rushed to Greenfang's side. "Greenfang, oh, my precious Greenfang," wailed Fernpelt. It was too much to bear for me. I had to leave the den. Moments later, I heard wails and howls of despair escaping the den. It was all over.

Hollystar:

Blizzardstorm and Goldenblossom carried Greenfang's body to the center of the clearing. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather below the Highrock!" Gasps and whispers came from all the cats to see Greenfang laying there. I took a deep breath, "We have lost yet another cat, Greenfang. He was a good, strong warrior. And he was loved by the clan. We hope you enjoy your eternal life up in Starclan, with all of our ancestors. May you rest in peace. We do not know the cause of what took his life, but this sickness will be known as Black cough. It is far worse than green cough. You may proceed with the mourning, and when the last mourner has gone, I will leave Fernpelt and Blizzardstorm to his burial."I jumped off the highrock, and curled up in my den, the wails of the broken-hearted cats keeping me awake most of the night...

Tawnykit:
I was stunned by the announcement. Greenfang was dead? Not possible! No, he couldn't be dead! No one in our clan could die, right? I meekly hobbled into the nursery and flopped onto my fluffy bed. It was made out of moss, grass from the forest, twigs and dried up seaweed. Curling into a tight ball, I gave an attempt to sleep. How could I? The mourning cries of my clan members kept me awake. Finally sleep over took me like a blanket. My peace didn't last long. Old memories and fears bubbled up into twist nightmares. They quickly stole all good feelings from me and replaced them with fear and dread. I mewled in my sleep, my body twitching in fear from the vivid dreamscapes. I didn't realize that while I was sleeping, I was whimpering in my sleep.

Raggedpaw:
I stared at our leader. "Dead! Dead? How can be be dead?" I muttered under my shakes breath. Sure, I wanted adventure but, I never wanted a death. Not so soon into our journey. Taking a couple of steps backwards I twisted around and darted into the apprentice den. This death, our first ever death in Seaclan, will shake our clan. Nothing good will come from this, that I can guarantee. Shutting my orange orbs, I tried to calm myself. I couldn't do it, I couldn't sleep. Sneaking out of the den I decided to keep watch of the clan.

Ripplekit:
I never knew the cat who had died, but I was still very sad over the loss of one of my clan members. I stole a glance at hollystar's den, it was quiet. I decided just to go to the nursery and sleep, I quietly padded over and peered inside. Tawnykit was sitting on her nest inside. I gathered a nest together and slept as far from the entrance as possible. I slowly drifted off to sleep, thoughts of what to do with the sea glass running through my head

Redthorn:

I was taken aback by the announcement Hollystar had just made. I walked over to Greenfang and laid down, resting my head on his soft fur. "I wish I'd gotten to know you better," I said. I didn't really know him well, we had talked a bit on the way to find a camp, "you seemed like such a good cat." I got up, and walked to the warriors den. I didn't go inside, I stayed awake until I saw the burial of the fine warrior. When it was finished, I walked into the den, and fell asleep. I had dreams of Black cough, and more cats getting sick, then, everything went black, and I was all alone. I woke up with a start...

Ivypaw:

"No!" I wailed, "This can't be happening!" I flopped onto the sand, next to the best warrior there ever was."GREENFANG!" No, no, no. Greenfang, please don't leave me. You were the only one that ever understood me. I knew it wasn't his fault. Enjoy your life in Starclan, you will be forever missed. You were the greatest mentor EVER to me. I got up, and I turned around to see one last look at the great cat. I walked away, and slid into the apprentices den. As I slept, I was on the shore, the tidal waves barely touching my paws. That's when I saw Greenfang, coming towards me in the horizon. He walked on top of the water, ripples falling behind him in each step. The moonlight was making his fur glow in the night. 'Ivypaw,' he said, 'do not worry about me. I will be fine. I have come to tell you that many good things will come your way, all you have to do is change your attitude.' Green fang faded into the night sky, the stars bursting with brilliant colors. I woke up, Change my attitude? I thought, and walked outside.

Ragedpaw:
The glowing orange orb in the sky began to rise and wake the world from its slumber. The beautiful sunrise was breath taking, to see the sky change colors has always fascinated me. That's when I could hear Ivypaw the apprentice den, he sounded scared. I tiptoed towards the den and poked my head in. "Hey Ivypaw, a-are you okay?" I asked with hesitation. I normally wasn't this weak, but death kind of changes us.

Tawnykit:
I tossed and turned in my bed, creepy shadows and looming eyes glared down at my in my dreams. 'No one wants you Speck!' My brother growled in my ear. A sharp sting on my back made me gasp in surprise and pain. I could feel claws digging into me, teeth ripping out my fur, all the while I was being yelled at by my relatives. I awoke with a scream, quickly calming myself. My eyes darted around, not remembering where I was. I scampered out of the den and into camp, shoving with fear. Some other cats poked there heads out and looked at me with confusion. That's when I remembered, I was in Seaclan and I was safe. My ragged breathing slowed as I shook my head. "S-sorry." I murmured, tail tucking between my legs as my ears flatted in embarrassment.

Ripplekit:
I heard scuffling in my dreams and woke up. Tawnykit was not there. Maybe she had a bad dream? I groggily stood up and peered out the entrance, yup. Tawnykit was looking scared and embarrassed. I walked over to her."Tawnykit? are you ok?" I whispered.

Tawnykit:
I didn't realize Ripplekit was next to me, when she spoke I let out a muffled squeak if surprise and backed away. Seeing who it was I calmed down and tried to puff up my character a bit. "Yeah, I'm fine." I stated clearly, my eyes were betraying me though. I couldn't look her in the eyes! 'Come on, just like Hollystar said. I gotta do it.' I thought. Closing my eyes I soon opened them back up and looked right into her eyes. "I'm fine." I repeated. "I just thought I heard something so I came out here to investigate." I lied and instantly looked down at my paws. "I'm going to erh, find some more drift wood or something." I murmured and dashed away.
