Black spots began crowding her vision. In the distance she heard someone calling her name. Mustering all her strength she let out a yowl. After that things became blurry, she was only aware of her now screaming kit. This one could die too, as it was cold,wet,and hungry. But she could only stare at it blankly, her energy draining.

Shadepaw ran to Moonsong. She was having her kits! She quickly pulled the stuck kit out. She looked at moonsong. "I need borage.." She murmured. Shadepaw stared at the she-cat.

Suddenly the pain went away, but she still couldn't see. She'd lost a lot of blood. Her kit was still crying and she couldn't even lick the second to let it breathe. Her eyes began to droop, the light fading.

Shadepaw focused her attention of the kits now. She licked the second one, allowing it to able to breath. Then she looked at Moonsong, who was slowly dying. "moonsong!?"

Her breathing stopped. Her eyes flickered open, she was in the green forest again. Her mother padded up to her "hello Little One" she said
Moonsong panicked "am I dead?!" Her mother sighed," no, but you almost did die. Go back, you shouldn't join me for many,many moons." She touched her nose to hers, and warmth spread through her. Then she heard a distant rumble of thunder, and let in a huge breath.
