Water soaked her as she began to lick at a tiny wet bundle. The kit mewed and crawled to her belly. theres still one more. she thought. Then a new pain came, worse than anything she'd ever felt. A flash of lightning,a deafening clap of thunder, and a bloodcurdling scream in the night.

Shadepaw sharply looked up. "MOONSONG!" She yowled. The scream was recognizable.

The kit was pushed away from her waving paws, and began to mew loudly, shivering as rain soaked it's silvery fur. But no matter how hard she tried she couldn't get to it. Pain overwhelmed her, and she realized that the remaining kit was stuck. If someone didn't help, not only would she die, but the kit as well. Nettlewind! Please! I need you!
