Fye snorted,lipping her mane before she ran once again.He galloped to her and brushed against her.He let out a loud whinny and nipped at her neck.

Star nickered to Arrow to catch his attention, and gave him a look that clearly said, with irony, get back over here. She smiled a little, and tossed her head.

Elle almost laughed out loud, but turned her head so the stallion wouldn't see her smile. He was now avoiding her, to avoid the question. Or whatever he was doing. He was having some sort of inner conflict anyways.

Sterling grinned at Arrow's leaving, and looked at Elle. "Hey."

Elle looked up at her mate and smiled, trotting to him. She nuzzled his neck and nipped a strand of ane slightly playfully, and then stood still at his side. "How is Lady?" she asked with respect. Her own foal fidgeted in her stomach, but he was not yet big enough to see from an outsiders view. She would appear as unbred as any at the moment. She smiled at Star, and then continued, "I believe you've met Star, my half-sister."

Star smiled back at Elle, and gave a Sterling a small nod of aknowledgement.

Sterling squealed and nipped Elle back, replying in a slightly worried tone. "She just foaled..she doesn't seem to much desire my interference, so I'm letting her be." The silver stallion then turned to Star, nodding with respect. "Hello, Star." He grinned at the mares, especially Elle, affectionatly, sun shining on his pelt.

Elle nodded thoughtfully. "I can imagine that, being the type of mare she is." She didn't say it insultingly, just stating the fact.

Star cocked her head, interested only vaguely. She lowered her head to graze.

"Yes she is rather independent, but I like that about her. Just wish she'd pay me more mind, sometimes." The silver stallion snorted, and lie on the grass. It was warm, and Sterling stretched out, feeling the sun beat down on his side and flicking lazily at a fly.

Elle laid down next to the stud, and leaned her head slightly against his neck. "Its not a bad thing," she said, meaning her words, "But I do wish we would get along a bit better. But I'm not going to go run and apologize, nor would she accept. I don't want to be known as 'that other weak mare' in her mind." She sighed, and then shook her head. "It doesn't matter. As long as we can share you. As long as you stay loyal." She added the last part on a little quickly, thinking of Arrow's words. She was not going to repeat them, and knew in her heart that they were not true, but was still slightly offset. She glanced at her grazing sister. She seemed content with him, but he seemed to her a little desperate.

Star continued to graze, but slowly taking steps away from the pair to give them privacy.
