Brackenshade had been left there, so he rolled his eyes and tried to catch another scent. Sadly, he couldn't find anything. Brackenshade sighed, and decided to look in a different area.

Blaze placed a fish and rabbit next to her. "Incase the fish isn't enough," he said. He smiled down at echokit. "It's okay, I won't hurt you if that's why your upset."

Echokit
Echokit was bored now. Stop whining! she thought, annoyed by Hailkit. She narrowed her eyes and stuck her tongue out quickly at him. Mama didn't notice.

Ravenpaw nodded. "Maybe it will..." She thought aloud, closing her eyes.

Stormcloud sniffed the air. He caught a waft of vole, pouncing into the bush but Fogheart was there first, the vole in her mouth. She taunted him, hopping off to go bury it again. Stormcloud hissed angrily.

Hailkit-
Hailkit's tail drooped at his sister's scolding. He gently batted at her ear, and hoped that she'd forgive him and play.

Dawnstorm-
"Thank you Blaze, that's nice of you," Dawnstorm purred, and began to take a bite of the fish.

Ripplepaw-
Standing up, Ripplepaw shook snowflakes out of his pelt. "I wish I could go hunting, but my mentor's never around," he sighed, and began padding away. Ravenpaw didn't seem to be in the mood for talking.

Brackenshade-
After many attempts at catching prey with no success, Brackenshade padded back to the others empty-pawed. "I can't find anything else, do you two have better luck than me?"

Stormcloud hissed quietly once again. "I did, but Fogheart stole it." Fogheart stuck her tongue out. "I found it first!" She said, cuffing his ear. "Go off and hunt again before we catch more things than you!" She teased. Stormcloud snorted, going off.

Brackenshade-
"Forest prey doesn't seem to like me, I'm going to go check out the river boarder," he mewed, going off to fish. "I'll meet both of you back here in a while."

Echokit
When Hailkit batted her ear, she giggled and leaped onto him, pinning him down. "Got ya!" She squeaked her first words. She giggled again and pretended to bite his ear.

"Alright!" Fogheart meowed, padding off to go look for more prey. She saw a flash of blue-gray, sighing she new that Stormcloud wasn't very good at hunting. "How in the world has he become a warrior?" She thought. She caught a scent of vole, getting into the hunter's crouch she stalked it.
