To no luck, the warrior took allowed himself to steady himself again, this time he had gold eyes closed and head hung low; However, his wound dripped heavily onto the ground. The badger must have did some sort of damage to his skull, he couldn't fall in the center of camp. No. Steampelt wouldn't allow that.

Sparrowtail nodded understandingly, and was about to offer up a comment when he noticed Glacierpool seemed to be on to something. He winked at the she-cat before letting himself slowly back away, his body lowered to the ground. He hid his gray tabby coat in the shadows. He knew the best thing he could do was to just get out of the way, and he watched the she-cat to see if she would catch anything.

Steampelt was about to move again, but before he could open his sun gold eyes or raise a large grey paw forwards, his body jerked and his broad frame dropped to the camp ground. Right. In. The. Center. Of. Camp. As much as the warrior wanted to get back up, the orbs of darkness started to take over, and his limbs seemed paralyzed or to weak to move. It would be a miracle from starclan if someone would come over and be great enough to help the soldier; However, Steampelt kept quiet, his thoughts jumbled to the point he could not think.

"Yea, Quickstar said I could take care of her. That means, she'll be my responsibility." Drus said with a smile at Bramblestripe, and seeing Quill made her laugh out loud as she smiled to the kit. "I have no doubt, that she'll be a great she - cat." Drus mewed to Quill, with a long tail flick. She had remembered Ash, and was quiet upset about him going, though she didn't show it. "Hey, Bramblestripe.. Can you find Ash and tell him I'm staying, I just don't want to leave Quill here..." She said as a plea, still smiling, but her eyes showed different as she knew Bramblestripe could see right through her.

glacierpool's paws drifted into the ferns, tail flicking behind her as her fur brushed along the ground. there, downhill, a small oak tree, branches reaching out in every direction. on a particularly large branch as large as the tree itself, set nestled in the fallen leaves and shade, a prickly nest housing two sparrows, that were both moderately large, however they still seemed to be only a tad taller than the eggs laid within the nest. glacierpool's brows rose as she studied the prey. she could get the two larger birds then when the eggs hatched, which from their size wouldn't be long, she could get those too and feed a few cats in the clan, including the smaller kits and apprentice with the younger sparrows.

quill blinked up at drus, scrambling over and nuzzling into her fur sympathetically, drove by an urge though everyone else was sure she knew nothing of the pain of leaving a sibling.

Drus looked down at Quill with a smile. She soon looked back up at Bramblestripe with her mouth barely open. She looked at him with a saddened smile "He's perched out of a tree, right by the Lake."

Bramblestripe raised his blue eyes up to Drus, "Alight." He meowed to her. "Are you sure you want me to tell him instead of you?" Bramblestripe asked her. He would do it, but he didn't see why Drus would ask him to tell Ash instead of her own self going to tell him.

"He's like a, well a rare species. He's always around, you just have to keep your eyes open." She said with a form of confusion in herself "Yes I'm sure, he won't... Well he might... He will not kill you, he'll kill me." She said with a small drop of sadness "And plus, you toms have a weird way of understanding each other..." She stated as her eyes shifted to Quill, who she licked for comfort.

Bramblestripe let a laugh come out of his muzzle, "Ok." He lowered his tail behind him and looked towards the entrance. "I guess I'll go now." Bramblestripe got up from sitting, "By the lake?" He asked Drus for conformation. Bramblestripe swayed his tail behind him gently from side to side.

"Yes, right on a tree, perched on the low hanging branch." She said as she picked up the kit by her scruff, it was gentle how she did it and walked carefully with the kit hanging from her mouth, away from the floor. She made her way to the nursery and gently sat the kit down on her paws as she sat down as well.
