Finchpaw frowned, thinking for a moment. "...I can't say I have." She smiled once again. "I'd like to, one day, a Golden Finch."

Bramblestripe chuckled at the two of them, "So is she your new buddy?" He asked aiming the question at Drus. Bramblestripe looked at the kits ruffled hair with an amused smirk. He pawed gently pawed at Quill's small tail with his paw. "When your an apprentice I have no doubt hunting will go by fast for you." Bramblestripe added on with a smile.

Silverpaw shrugged, "Not sure, just am I guess." She got up and looked down at Darkpaw. "I wonder what my warrior name will be." Silverpaw meowed, she had been thinking about it for a little while on the ground.

Owlpaw heard paw steps and stopped licking her tail. She turned her body to the sound and waited to see what was making it. Owlpaw was most likely sure it was cats of her clan.

Lionpaw flicked an ear in answer. "Owlpaw?" He called then he pushed through a bush and saw her on the ground. So much for waiting in the tree. At least the badger hadn't come back this way. "Grab your catch we have to get Honeypaw bavk to the med den." He meowed picking up his fish.

Darkpaw blinked. "Oh yea. Your going to be getting your warrior name soon aren't you?" He smiled up at her. They had often joked about names but he was sure Quickstar would give her something good. She deserved a perfect name to fit her. Not that he would care what her name was. She coukd be called fox dung and he wouldn't mind. But he knew she must be worrying about it.

Mudpaw pinned his ears tk the back of his orange striped neck. "A golden Finch? Do they taste good?" He asked. He was sort of glad he wasn't named after a prey. It would be weird eating yourself. I mean you could eat mud but it probubly wouldn't taste all that great.

"I don't know," Finchpaw replied, nomming on her mouse. "I've never eaten one." She looked thoughtful. "They're pretty, though. I've seen one."

Owlpaw grinned before grabbing her fish, "Alright." She said muffled by the fish. Owlpaw walked past Lionpaw heading towards the camp.

Silverpaw nodded, "Yea." She mewed to him sitting back down and thinking. Silverpaw's stomach turned thinking about becoming a warrior. She also was excited, but it also meant more responsibility. Silverpaw let out a deep breath she was holding in and let a smile onto her face.

Steampelt turned and lugged past the two warrior, jet black claws still unsheathed. "While you two do whatever, and bath in glory of scaring off a badger which most likely will return upon revenge, I will go and report its run off to quickstar." The Russian blue spoke with a very serious accent, before tugging forward towards camp at full sprint.

honeypaw growled as steampelt zoomed past her. 'but, that was supposed to be my job..' she murmured below her breathe. sighing, she lowered her head as she crept forwards.


glacierpool frowned after steampelt, face tinted red in annoyance. huffing, the humid color drained from her face as she turned to sparrowtail. 'so; up for that hunting trip?'

The grey warriors paws hit hard against the dirt and fallen leaves, canine teeth clenched together in anger. Do they seriously think the badger was gone for good? Did they? Steampelt lept over a fallen birch log, nimble limbs landing softly which aloud him to keep running in a quick pace. Then a unwanted thought drifted in his mind, why is Glacierpool so hostile to him? What this grey warrior ever do to her? Blinking a few times to try and escape those thoughts, Steampelt darted through the vine tunnel into camp without hesitation.

Sparrowtail watched Steampelt sprint off, and he shook his head before he turned his attention back to Glacierpool. He smiled at her question, flicking his ears. "Of course! I've been thinking about it all day, I've had the slowest evening. Badger fights are like the norm." He joked, offering a genuine grin. "By the look of that badger, I don't think it'll even make it through the night." He said aloud, reflecting back on Steampelt's talk of revenge. He twitched his whiskers and looked back down at Glacierpool. "I don't mean to pry, really. You don't have to tell me anything. But I can't help but notice the tension between you and Steampelt, and I will admit he isn't exactly kind to you." He said softly, his voice laced with concern.

Sunpaw nodded, following Mudpaw over to sit beside Finchpaw. She nodded quickly in greeting to the apprentice, before having a seat and beginning to start her meal. She listened quietly to their conversation, flicking her ear while doing so. They spoke of the bird that Finchpaw was named for; an animal of which Sunpaw had never seen either. "Don't feel bad, you could be named after the sun. It's bright, burns your eyes, and is sometimes too hot." She added, poking fun at her own name.

glacierpool shrugged. 'yeah. kinda funny too, since i used to camp out with him in the medicine den when he broke his leg.' she grumbled, glaring off. sniffing the air, she waited for the scent of prey to catch her muzzle, and when it did, she lowered herself against the ground.
