"Exile!" Claws ripped at his pelt. His mentor, being ever merciful, asked to take his body away. He took him to the border and over, hoping another Clan would save him.
Badgerpaw awoke, startled.

[dr. pupper]

'you're awake?' glacierpool murmured, ear flicking. she sat across the den, tail curled around her paws. 'the sun's coming up completely now, i think.. about time you woke up. mudpaw still isn't back, but he'll be back soon.'

Lionpaw finally lead the group of tired apprentices back to camp. He stopped right before the entrance. "If anyone sees us just say we were hunting. But got distracted and played a game instead." He meowed lookikg at each one of them
His eyes lingered just a little longer on Finchpaw hoping shed lie for Muddy who had explained to them in full detail the entire venture. It turns out the genious had simply forgotten seeing other clans was in the code. Their cover up story was a lame one and made them all out to be fools but it was better to be a fool then a traitor. Lionpaw ducked into camp head low and blue eyes locked on the apprentice den. He hoped for at least a short cat nap before his mentor got to him.

glacierpool paused, icy blue eyes casting towards the exit. 'hold on..' she hissed, standing and moving towards the entrance, tossing the moss out of her face that hung from the den entrance. 'hey, you guys!' she hissed, leaping forwards. 'where were you guys? just so you know, i saw each and every one of you leave camp. now would you care to explain why on earth i am treating a roamingclan apprentice to sprintclan herbs?'
a narrow head peaked out from behind the apprentice den. 'oh, raggedpaw is back!' honeypaw squeaked softly, galloping forwards, stretching out her long limbs. 'i wanted to go with you guys, but you all left without me.. so i waited, and sometimes i helped glacierpool with the apprentice..'

Raggedpaws green eyes flicked guilitily towards Honeykit. He flattened his ears back against his head and looked back at his paws. It wasn't so much that they had snuck out to get Muddy but more his own concious weighing on him since the fight. He felt like he couldn't trust himself to hold back his anger. He didn't want to ever hurt Honeykit and he didn't know if he could keep her safe from his outbursts. He was like a bomb waiting to explode.

Lionpaw took a step forwards towards Glacierpool. "Glacierpool. We, Mudpaw found him and tried to help him. He didn't mean to break the code. Can you please just keep this quiet for him?" Lionpaw asked sounding deafeted. He and Glacierpool had never been friends and he knew for a fact that the young warrior and Muddy did not get along well. But he dreaded thinking about what Quickstar would do to the orange apprentice. He couldn't think about trying to live in the clan without him.

Mudpaw moved passed the others while Lionpaw spoke. Badgerpaw was here? He slipped into the den passed Glacierpool not really listening to their conversation. He was more worried about Badgerpaw. He froze when he saw the young cat. "Oh man.." he meowed. He walked closer slowly then curled up around him. "Im sorry Badgerpaw. I shouldnt have let you go back on your own. " he mumbled softly.

There was a loud sneeze from the apprentice's den, followed by Sootpaw running after Honeypaw.

"It's not your fault." Badgerpaw muttered. He had eaten the poppy seeds and was once again feeling drowsy.

Finchpaw lowered her head. So much for the hunting story. "He was just trying to help someone. Please don't let him be punished too harshly."

honeypaw raised a brow at raggedpaw. 'raggedpaw, are you okay? you look kinda funny,' she noted, flattening her ears. 'but.. now that you're back, will you go with me to go hunting a little later? glacierpool said she's taking me on a dawn hunting trip! i think sootpaw can come too,' she said, with a smile back at her brother.

glacierpool's tail flicked behind her. 'i guess not.. okay, we'll keep this secret from quickstar, alright? im letting you guys off the hook, and you should know this is hard since quickstar is like, the only one who actually likes me, besides maybe the queens and honeypaw.' she huffed. 'but you will be helping the clan a bit more with hunting and patrols, alright? hopefully that helps your need to scurry out of camp for playdates with other clancats.' she nodded.

'and what exactly are we keeping secret from quickstar?' badgerpelt grumbled, sliding out of the warrior den.

'i'd like to ask the same question,' a calmer voice said. honeypaw flattened her ears and squeaked, backing up behind raggedpaw. quickstar sat at the entrance to his den. 'don't worry honeypaw, i doubt you had a share in whatever secret this is.' honeypaw relaxed slightly.

Finchpaw flattened her ears. "Just some hunting, right Glacierpool?" She mewed.

Sootpaw took a step back.

glacierpaw nodded softly. 'mhm. these apprentice went out hunting and sootpaw and honeypaw decided to follow them. they got lost so i had to catch them, found them in a bramble patch; they were worried you would be angry so they made me keep it a secret, guess it's not a secret anymore though.'

honeypaw went along in a surprisingly good series of acting. 'yeah..' she squeaked nervously. 'i wanted to show raggedpaw i could catch something, but i just ended up getting tangled up in the brambles.. sootpaw tried to untangle me but he couldn't do it until glacierpool showed up.'
