squirrelpaw blinked, nodding as she took the cobwebs. she turned, and bent down to gentle pat some cobwebs over the apprentices wound.

"Are you a Medicine cat Apprentice?" Badgerpaw asked, head tilted.

[dr. pupper]

'yeah,'
squirrelpaw answered, nodding her head. 'ive been one for about three moons, i think.'

Badgerpaw nodded silently.

"I can't help him, Addertooth." He could hear the fuzzy voice of their Medicine cat. Loststar spoke, "Ok. Addertooth, go ahead and remove him. We don't want hi corpse in our camp." His mentor nodded and gripped his torn scruff. There was some swinging around before he was sat down again. "I'm sorry Badgerpaw." And then he was alone.

Mudpaw watched concerned as she worked on him. "We can't send him back to hid own clan can we?" He whispered in squirrel paws ear. They had done this to him before they may do it again.

"of course not," squirrelpaw hissed gently as she worked. glancing upwards, she noted the dark sky mixing slowly with the bright lilac of dawn. 'almost morning, though.. what do we do with him?' she whispered.

Mudpaw looked down at him his blue eyes glancing over him. He swallowed hard before meowing, "He can come back to camp with me. I'll tell them I went night hunting and found you two here." He meowed actually making a good plan for once. Quickstar was his mentor. Maybe he'd go easy on him.
