squirrelpaw replied, flicking her tail.

"Ok..." Badgerpaw closed his eyes. "Thank you, I didn't know where I was or where camp is, or..."

[dr. pupper]

'your camp is a little while back.. down there, i'm guessing'
squirrelpaw replied, nodding towards the hill nearby that sloped harshly downwards.

[C a s]

Badgerpaw nodded. "I should go soon," he mewed reluctantly.

[dr. pupper]

'after your clan did this to you?'
squirrelpaw hesitated, biting her lip. 'obviously they don't seem to want you there if... what did you even do?'

Badgerpaw lowered his gaze. "I don't really wanna talk about it..." Memories flashed through his head.

"Obviously, we need bait, someone expendable." Nerveous gazes flitted around. "Him!" The small ginger tabby nodded towards Badgerpaw. Shock ripped through him. His own sister had volunteered him to be fox bait.

[dr. pupper]

'are you okay?'
squirrelpaw furrowed her brows, flattening her ears. 'anyway... muddy, those cobwebs; oh, never mind.. look after badgerpaw, please!' she meowed, quickly raising her head and turning, fleeing to find the webs.

Badgerpaw barely heard her.

His mentor, Adderstrike, have him a rough shove. The young cat whimpered slightly. "Shut up!" Badgerpaw was left in the entrance of the fox den. There were yelps of pups inside, and the low growl of a female. She shot forward, and there was yowling and pain, and sorrow. Then he was running, blinded by agony. "Atack!" Loststar's mew rand out as the patrol attacked the female, then the den itself after the cubs. She turned back, unknown to him. The Apprentice kept running until his paws could no longer carry him, then he'd collapsed.

Quietkit raised her head sleepily and glanced around, yawning with a mew. She blinked as she glanced toward the entrance of the nursery; soft light was fading it. She stood up and padded out, ruffling her fur out and glancing around the misty camp. It seemed oddly quiet.

Mudpaw returned with a pawful of cobwebs. "Sorry that took so long." he grumbled. He stoppes by Badgerpaws side. "Everythings going to be ok." He meowed noticing the fearful look in his eyes.
