Bramblestripe got up and started heading back for his prey he had caught. When he reached the camp site with 2 blackbirds in his mouth he saw Dasiypetal crying and Steamkit barley alive. Bramblestripe went over to Snowfall after dropping his prey. "What happened here..." He asked.

Dawnpelt walked back to her supply and returned with comfrey. She chewed the roots of the plant and fed the juices to the kit. She set aside some comfrey roots to give to Whitepaw later. Dawnpelt rubbed her paw along Steamkit's throat to assist the kitten in swallowing. The medicine cat looked to Daisypetal, "Are you feeling alright? I can give you something for shock if you wish. I'll take as best care of Steamkit as I can. In the meantime feel free to rest. I'll wake you if something comes up."

I shallowed everything the medicine cat dropped in front of me, just wanting to stop the screaming pain and get better. My grey fur was dotted with specks of blood and my right arm was twisted into a strange position and limp.
