Jaypaw smiled as he rolled around in a shallow puddle, making his gray, almost blue fur pleasantly wet. Eventually he stopped and sat up, looked around then began padding towards where he could hear Rainpaw and Jadepaw playing, The she-cats where both younger then him but that didn't affect his affectionate feelings for Rainpaw that where melting like warm honey in his stomach. Pushing through the last of the bushes he gave a small laugh seeing the other apprentices play fighting by the look of it."Can i join in?" He meowed softly, sitting down and curling his tail around his paws.

Rainpaw held off her attack on Jadepaw to look and see Jaypaw approaching. She sat down, looking somewhat embarrassed. "Oh! Jaypaw! I didn't hear you come up.", she purred. "Actually... I think we'd better go to see Thornstar. He was going to train us in stealth. Want to come?"
She had marveled at Jaypaw since his arrival in the clan, and had still been in the Nursery when he'd arrived. But she didn't consider herself inferior to him because of a difference of a few moons. Rainpaw had always gotten the impression that he thought of her as an equal, and she respected him for that. His stalwart faith in Starclan had always amazed her as well.

Jadepaw watched the apprentices, amused. "We'd better go and see Thornstar. He's waiting" she mewed. She padded towards him, not waiting for then to catch up.

Thornstar did a quick headcount. "Alright. The test is simple. You have until the count of 30 to hide in the woods without me seeing you. Then you sneak up on me. You are out if I see or hear you. Any questions?" He asked the apprentices.

Lightstride took a bit out of the rabbit she was sharing. "Anything else new?"
