"Thank's Thornstar!" Lionpaw said, bouncing a bit, "So what move are we praticing?"

"Rainpaw was working on her sneaking skills. She nearly got me too," Thornstar said. He curled his tail around his paws.

"I'd like to see her try to get me!" Lionpaw said sitting finaly. He looked over at Rainpaw, as if daring her to try.

Cloudbursts ears grew hot as he saw Lightstride look at him. He turned his head towards Robinheart, then the fresh kill pile. He padded over to it and examined the prey, trying to figure out what he was hungry for. He was about to pick up the squirrel, but he would save it for a hungrier cat, or perhaps if two cats wanted to share it. When he thought of two cats sharing prey, he thought of Lightstride, and glanced at her out of the corner of his eye. He quickly looked down at the fresh kill again.

Robinheart sat in the shade of a tall tree, and groomed her fur. I look like I was attacked by the forest! she thought, looking at all the brambles and leaves in her fur. She pulled the brambles out, pulling out clumps of reddish brown fur with them. She moved onto her tail, which had gotten stuck in a bramble thicket. She pulled the plant out of her pelt and looked like a normal cat again, not a cat made out of tree. She laughed at herself.

Lightstride's belly grumbled. She looked down at it. "Oh. hungry are you?" she asked, addressing her stomach. "All right." She walked over to Cloudburst. "You want to share something?"

Cloudburst looked at Lightstride. "Sure." he said calmly. His heart was beating so loud, he thought she might hear it. He covered it up with words. "You choose." he said, looking at her.

Lightstride took a good look at the available food. She picked out a rabbit and pushed it towards Cloudburst. "You first." She looked up at the tree leaves. They were starting to rustle violently. There was a distinct chill in the air. "A snowstorm is coming, I believe."

Cloudburst sat down and took a bite of the rabbit. As he chewed he looked at the sky. "I hope its not too bad." he meowed, swallowing. The wind blew on his fur, making him shiver. He poofed up his tail and swept it over his paws.

Thornstar looked up at the graying sky. "I wonder if Lightstride has a prediction for the weather."

Lightstride took a deep breath, tasting the sharp air. She paused, deep in thought. "I believe it will snow all day tomorrow, but we won't be snowed in."
