Sonya galloped along the ground, her hooves beating against it, sending dirt flying backwards. She gave a soft nicker of delight, feeling the wind through her mane. She decided to stop, and she skidded to a halt. Near by, she heard the small gurgle of a stream. With a flick of her creamy/white tail, she trotted over to it, and lowered her head to drink.

A bay stallion lay on the grass, rolling around. He sighed with contempt as he scratched his back. Finally, he rolled to his side, and stood up. He shook himself, flinging off the bits of grass and dirt that clung to his coat. Chase stood a moment, looking around at his surroundings and the sky.
