"Uh... nope," he said, suddenly feeling scared. What if the impact had paralyzed that part of his body? Not that it would harm much, as it would only be his forehead up. Or was it the point of impact all the way down the spine? He shuddered at the thought of not ever being able to move again. He would be in the elder's den at only six moons.
To his relief, Flightpaw felt pressure on his wound. It was probably the only time any cat would feel ecstatic to have pain.
"Now I do," he reassured her.

Rainfall just smiled and looked down at her prey. She silently thanked Starclan for it. Rainfall glanced around the clearing for Nightclaw. He was in the warriors den, sound asleep. Darkfang and Rainfall were both pretty close to it, so Rainfall padded over to the other side of the clearing and asked Darkfang to come over.

"Oh! Sure!" Darkfang said, blushing.

Firelight yawned. "Ya. I guess." He looked at the she-cat, his tail swishing on the ground. He stretched his jaws in a yawn. He blinked his green eyes, looking at the sky.

Rainfall nodded. She wasn't in a flirting mood this second.
"Okay, you know Nightclaw? He's the reason for the war," she meowed. She would say nothing more. It could only make things worse. Unless, of course, he wants to know more.

Lightstep grinned sheepishly and padded off, looking for something to do.
He doesn't like you! He never will! growled a tiny voice in her head. She wanted to tear it to pieces, even if that meant tearing herself to pieces.

Goldpaw removed the cobwebs and sat down. She shrugged as if to say, "Whatever." and stalked off to hunt. When she got to the woods, Goldpaw drank in the air. Rabbit. She dropped into a hunting crouch and sprang onto her target. She pinned it down and finished it off. She picked up the fresh-kill and carried it back to camp.
