Rainfall smiled and padded up to the fresh kill pile. She chose a vole for herself and a mouse for Darkfang. She padded back over to him.
"Here!" she mewed and dropped the mouse at his paws.

"Oh! Well, thank you Rainfall." Darkfang said. He was rather flattered. "You didn't have to do that." He said, blushing a little.

"It's fine. I was going over there anyways," she mewed.

Rainfall just smiled and looked down at her prey. She silently thanked Starclan for it. Rainfall glanced around the clearing for Nightclaw. He was in the warriors den, sound asleep. Darkfang and Rainfall were both pretty close to it, so Rainfall padded over to the other side of the clearing and asked Darkfang to come over.

She imagined herself a powerful warrior, defeating the enemy every time. She had just had her apprentice ceremony, and she was going to be the best warrior ever.
