Flame looked at the bat, glowering. He was almost entirely sure it was a human ((can you tell he likes jumping to conclusions)), but it was impossible to simply delete her right then and there. Death wouldn't approve of it even if it was possible. He was kind to all but humans and if Piefan wasn't a human in the end, Flame would have essentially took away the life of someone for no good reason. Pondering his options, he spoke after a while. "We have gotten some humans around here lately. They were transported here somehow; science has failed all. Would you happen to be one of them?" he asked in the kindest voice possible, which wasn't a lot for him.

The bat hesitated. It was a huge stretch to call the group trustworthy, she had only just met them after all. And they weren't friendly. She was a good liar, she knew that. But Flame had referred to this group as good with perception. If she did lie, they could find out. So she opted for something vague instead. "Well, what do you think?"

Enchantress watched, her eyes calculating. If it was a human, she would attack. She hated humans. Was it? It might have been a really, really dumb pet. Unfortunately, it seemed to know the fact that lies are easy to tell. It's answer was vague. To vague. Her tail twitched at the end, and her gems flashed red, before returning to violet.

These pets were suspicious, Piefan could tell. Some seemed to at least try and hide it, but Agony didn't. Her eyes were calculating, and her gems... Well, they glowed. That was about it. But red wasn't a very cheerful colour. Flame, on the other hand, stared at his paws, seeming to be waiting for her to speak. So he could come to a conclusion that she was a human. Damn. They hadn't told her the name of the group, but they were like the Sacrificed she had heard of earlier. And considering she had to go through a snowstorm to survive that encounter, she didn't want to be caught amongst another one.

Padding through Peace Forest, Reef was bored. She walked slowly, looking around at the nature and admiring it as a means of entertainment. Yet it didn't work, and she soon grew of it. There were only so many flowers one could identify, plus she wasn't very educated in nature.

Eventually she decided to sit down, and sit she did. She found a stump and sat down on it, watching other pets trot onwards, going Tess-knows-where.
