Nightpelt woke up, and went out to hunt. He had caught 3 voles, and a squirrel. Nightpelt brought all of the prey back to camp, and put all his fresh-kill into the fresh-kill pile. Nightpelt picked up the squirrel, and gave it to Jayfeather.

Chancepaw got up, and stretched. She went over to the fresh-kill pile, and got a vole. Want to share this with me? Chancepaw asked Brairpaw.

Specklepaw got bored watching and lay down in the sun. She didn't move anywhere, afraid that the warriors would yell at her. She sighed and closed her eyes.

Pantherpaw's fur continued to bristle "You.. you... you!!" He said through clenched teeth. The scent perfectly matched the unknown scent on Sapfire's dead body.
