SoftHeart retreated to her den, she figured she could welcome the new deputy later. For now, she needed to organize the herbs.

GingerFur quickly jumped over to the new deputy. " You'll do great! I'm sure of it. ", she smiled.

RainClaw watched the little kit scamper to CrimsonFox. He flickered his tail, getting up and padding over to him. " You better do good", he half teased.

Crimsonfox smiled and nodded to his clanmates and chuckled to Rainclaw "You better believe it" before looking to Gingerfur giving a nod of thanks. He lifted a paw and pat the kit on the head " I could hear you a mikebaway,thank you!" He purred

Sorrowkit:
I purred in happiness and excitement. "Congratulations." I squeaked out. I turned to the rest of the cats surrounding us, only to see the frog I was playing with hooping off. "Oh no! Sorry Crimsonfox, I gotta go!" I pushed past the crowding cats and scampered over to the fleeing frog. "No froggie, no!" I tripped over my paws, sending me flying forward and crashing into a rock wall. I shook my head, seeing that the world was now upside down. The frog jumped into the tall blades of grass and slipped away. I fell over and stood the right way up again. "Awe!"

RainClaw purred slightly and glanced at the kit. " Great job SorrowKit, next time you sure will get that wall!", he laughed happily and padded away.

Sorrowkit:
"Hey!" I huffed. "I wasn't aiming for the wall, I was trying to catch that frog." I defended myself.
