North America, 15 000 years ago...
The worlds greatest wolves - The Direwolves of Inaria - has spread their territory over nearly all of north america. The humans are no threat to them, and no single animal is brave (or foolish) enough to challenge them. The pack grows bigger every day, but so is their arrogance, thy they think nothing can destroy them. Because of this not a single one of the wolves pays any attention to the new pack which has crept onto the direwolves territory - Until it's too late for them to avoid a sneak attack on the den.
The Direwolves suffer from a horrible lost; Almost their entire territory get's claimed by the enemy and half of their pack gets killed, among then the newborn pups. Thus this leaves the Alpha with no other choice than to beg the great blackbloods for help, only problem is it was the direwolves that bannished them all from their territory so many years ago...
The story of the blackblood wolves
Long, long ago, the direwolves suffered from a simmilar threat. The alpha male at the time came up with the idea of forcing the biggest, strongest and the fastest of the wolves in their pack to mate, hoping that their offsprings would inhabit both of it's parents abilities. This plan was success full and the direwolves managed to hold their rivals off while the wolves continued to mate. This mating soon lead to incest and eventually they realized that they had created a completely new kind of wolves; They called them the Guardians of Inaria.
The guardians were much bigger and more powerful than the direwolves, but at the same time remarcably fast and agile. as a result of the incest, they even started taking on a more unnatural colour sceme that their "brothers". With the guardians help, the threat was destroyed and the direwolves territory spread across north america.
With power, of course, often comes paranoia; The alpha was afraid that the guardians might turn against him and take control of the pack, a ridicolous though because the guardians were gentle and friendly towards their creators, but still he saw no other way to secure the direwolves power than to bannish and chase away the guardians from their land. Since they loved their brothers of all their hearts, they did not fight back but silently ran away with broken souls.
The former guardians became hated for being freaks, bastards, and even traitors! nobody seemed to aknowledge the fact that they had betrayed them. INstead they blamed all their missery on the Blackbloodwolves - Which the guardians were now called by the pack.
Now the Direwolves are in the great need of help to survive, but how, and will, the Blackbloods answar their pleads?

- Only the blackblood wolves are allowed to have unnatural colours. Wolves in the other packs has to be any kinds of brown, grey, white, black, beige etc.
- First come first serve, want to be an alpha? Hurry up before all the spots are taken!
- The alpha male/female and the alpha female/male doesn't have to be a mated pair, they can just as well be siblings or friends.
