As Dovetail stepped outside the light hurt her eyes and almost blinded her. Since she had been in that dark den for awhile, her eyes would hurt, so she wasn't surprised.

" Mapleshade, what happened while I was asleep? " Dovetail asked Mapleshade as the both walked out of the den.

Dovetail spotted a handsome tom that she had never met before.

since Dovetail was so distracted by the tom, she didn't notice the kit running her way. The kit bumped into her and blushed then walked away to join his friends.

Dovetail hissed and kept walking.
