Gaia looked in the direction of the sound, Who are you? she asked as she hopped onto the stone fish that had once spat water.

Hasu held Akabari close and made a soft purr like sound.

Senko flashed a light on the end of its tail and slithered out into the streets.

Akabari snuggled close and smiled.

Gaia instantly lowering herself into a crouch, You have a soul yet no heartbeat. she said narrowing her eyes at Senko.

Hasu smiled and cuddled Akabari before yawning quietly.

[<Terminal March>]

Akabari yawned and curled up to sleep.

Senko slithered closer and screeched loudly, its red eye had a fish hook stuck in it.

Hasu smiled then curled up too, her body was longer than Akabaris so she curled around him.

Gaia looked closer then her gaze softened, You want me to get rid of the hook? she asked then returned to her dragon form and lowering to the ground.

Akabari smiled and fell asleep.

Senko snarled and lashed his tail at Gaia, the fish hook fell out of his eye and he bit into Gaia's shoulder.

[Raven Phoenix]

Gaia snarled back and her clawed wing stabbed into Senkos' eye.

Hasu smiled and kissed his cheek softly then drifted to sleep.

Senko screeched and curled around Gaia, slowly crushing her. "Die." he hissed in metallic voice.

A mechanical dragon flew above the city, circling the air around Gaia and Senko.

"I was severely injured when I was a hatchling, it was unlikely that I would live, so the built a mechanical body for me and put my soul into it." Karakuri said.

Rasuna stepped back again and looked at Karakuri's cold outer shell. "Does that mean there's a dragon underneath that?"
