Ripplestar saw a cat with the other leader... he seemed dark, she didn't know him but she looked forward to doing battle against him.... she padded up to the other leader and her deputy. " I am Riplestar, Leader of Mapleclan. This is my deputy Leopardpelt," Leopardpelt nodded slightly, she didn't trust anyone outside her clan.
Ripplestar turned to the other warriors and apprentices that were attending.
"Welcome, I am Ripplestar, leader of Maplepack. This is my deputy Leoardpelt. We have traveled very far to get to this land, we lost many of our elders and two apprentices on the journey. We are a war based clan, we build strength, speed, and stamina. we have already marked our territories. If anyone is to come across the tree or swim across the shallows, they will be killed unless you are sent with your leader. We are peaceful and will not start arguments between the clans, we just fight like professionals. We have not detected any threats here yet, we will be sure to notify you of any threats or disease like green cough which again there is none of. We must speak about where to meet with star clan, there is no where suitable near or around our camp. Other than that, We are glad to be here. Thank you all, Leafstar, you may begin your report." her voice sounded Queenly and elegant. She stepped back and let Leafstar begin.

Leafstar dipped her head and got up,looking at the clans."I am Leafstar,leader of oakclan and our deputy is brownfoot."She said,nodding to the dark Tom,sitting down who looked warily at the other cats,ready to leap at any time.
"We have lived here for a few moons and will not be afraid to fight.Medicine cats of your clan will,of course,never be harmed.Only if they try to steal our herbs.Also,be wary of who you come across if you past our boarders.Yes,i agree with Ripplestar that we will have to find a starclan meeting place.I hope that this new life for you all peaceful,and prey plentiful.But,Brownfoot has news to tell."Leafstar said,nodding to brownfoot to begin as she sat down.
"Farther east of our territory is a badgar hole,i have also seen a large branch going through the river that looks stable enough for them to cross.The scent frm far away seemed fresh enough and i believe i saw one lumbering through the weeds.I also think it's a female who is pregnat."Brownfoot finished and sat down.

" Badgers cannot be here. This is a cat's place. Since it is on your territory i leave this decision to you Leafstar, We could send patrols onto your territory, now of course we would not Hunt or Eat. I consider that stealing. We could organize one patrol of 6 cats. 3 of mapleclan and 3 of oakclan, they could go patrol the area and if they come across it, kill the badger." she looked around as the cats stared suspiciously at each other. She knew her clan would obey her, they were all good cats with big hearts. They knew to listen to her, r else there would be consequences.

Leafstar thought about it for a few moments."I suppose that'll be fine."She agreed finally,knowing it would be good for the badger to be killed now,as to not hurt anyone later.She hoped that Ripplestar was right about her clan not hunting or eating.She did not want to start a fight so soon.

" so tomorrow i will sent Tawnyheart, Eaglewing, and Darkwing. those are my 3 strongest cats." She agreed and thought about them getting hurt. " NO hunting on thier territory. we will have fresh kill for you when you get back. there will be consequences and i give them permission to turn you in to Leafstar." she finished knowing they would never disobey the rules.

"We are from across the mountains. Actually, practically in them. We traveled over the mountains for days, we lost 5 elders in the freezing cold, and 2 apprentices in the large cracks of the mountain." he finished lightly. one of the apprentices was her son thornpaw

She winced,"That must of been very hard.."She murmured,her eyes in thought of the mountains.Her tail flicked lightly as she looked,still wondering at the beauitful of the flowers and tall branches.
