Shadow Phyre blinked, his green eyes shining in the half-light. He enjoyed the night. It was when darkness ruled, when the two realms of light and darkness clashed. Truly, it was a beautiful thing. But, unfortunately, it was only a figment of his imagination. All that happened was the sun shone on the other side of the world, while the moon covered it. Sad, really.

Rain looked up at the moon, her head resting on her paws. She loved it, the moon. It meant silence and serenity, the two things she loved. Oh how she loved being alone, others were only burdens to her.

Shadow Phyre growled. He sensed another presence. The fur on his neck rose, as did a deep growl in his throat. The dark-sprited wolf bared his lethal fangs, his eyes darting from one place to another. Shadow gave an eerie grin.

Shadow stepped out of the dark bushes, smirking. He circled Rain, preventing her escape. His hackles were raised. Purple tints appeared to streak his fur, but it was only the magenta tone of dawn skies.

Rain growled, the scar acrossed her eye darkened by the shadows. She growled, her ears back, and her teeth bared.

"There's no need to act so terribly,"Shadow stepped away from her."I can not fight a female. It's just part of how I am. I can only defend myself against an attack started by one."

"If you must know, I live here, as do many others."Shadow Phyre replied in an annoyed tone."Besides, I enjoy fighting. I was hoping that you weren't a girl. there are too many around.."

Rain smiled lightly, "So what? You won't fight me because I'm a female huh?" She asked softly. "I'm going to fight you then. Feel free to fight back anytime." Rain growled as she lungged.
