Froststrike nodded enthusiastically, her heart pounding with excitement.
She pondered for a moment, sweeping her piercing gaze across the clan and mentally assessing each cat it came across. She was going to lead a patrol!
The small she-cat stood up to her full height - which wasn't much, but was still very intimidating, with a serious look on her face. An unreadable emotion flashed through her eyes for a split second before she smiled, still slightly serious.
"Tigerstripe, Silverpaw, Snowfur and Embereye!" she announced, leaping onto a nearby rock for extra height. "You are all to come on a border patrol with me!"

Embereye padded over to her, his tail swaying on the ground. He stood next to Froststrike and waited for the rest of the cats.

Echosong looked around, wondering where her apprentice was.

Mistypaw soon heard heavier paw steps behind her as she slowed down a little.
"You know, whatever your name is, you kinda look like this cat I've seen once... I think her name is Flameshadow or something. She's in the other clan. But never mind..."

Hiss

"My name is Hiss." he said. He heard the second bit of what she said, and immediately started thinking. Could Flameshadow be his sister? Probably not. They had never looked much alike, with his sister a dark ginger and soft blue eyes. He had white patches, and his orange spots were a lot lighter. Also, his eyes were a dark brown. He didn't remember his sister's name, but she had hated fire, and he was sure she wouldn't make it part of her new name. He shook his head. This cat that Mistypaw was talking about couldn't be his sister. Anyway, he'd rather talk of something else. "Are we almost there?" he asked, wondering if any of the others had followed.

Mistypaw glanced behind her as she ran.
"We're here... and sad to know the others haven't followed." she called to him and stopped at the camp's entrance.
She gulped and padded into camp, her amber gaze darting around and landing on Blackstar. The she-cat waved her tail for Hiss to follow and headed towards her leader. He was a strong, intimidating tom, but she admired him as a powerful leader. And she wasn't scared of him. No, Mistypaw was rarely scared of anything. Besides, why would she think that her own leader was scary?
"Blackstar!" she shouted, padding up to his rock and looking up. "I met this loner in the Forbidden Forest, and he might want to join Duskclan."

➳ ｆｒｏｓｔｓｔｒｉｋｅ

Froststrike hopped down from the rock and turned around to face the four cats.
"We especially have to check and mark the river border to make sure that no DuskClan cat would dare set paw on DawnClan's side. If they do, get them off. If they refuse to and threaten a fight, I wouldn't hesitate to rip them to shreds and neither should you." the small she-cat mewed, eyes narrowed as she marched in front of the patrol and stared at each and every cat in the eye. "Now let us proceed."
With a wave of her tail, Froststrike trotted to the camp exit and slipped out into the forest, making sure all the cats were following.

Flameshadow

"Spiltpelt!!" she yowled at the top of her lungs. "Where are you?"

Hiss
Hiss was shocked. That wasn't he'd had in mind. "Wai- What? I don't want to join!! Never!" He shot Mistypaw an angry glare. "I just want to ask a question!"

Blackstar
Blackstar looked down at the tom, eyes narrowed. "What question?" he asked, unamused. "And make it snappy. I've got better things to do."

Mistypaw shrugged apologetically, a smug smile on her face. She blinked, watching her leader talk to Hiss. She was curious as to what he was going to ask, and she didn't want to miss it.
