A small pup, about three moons old, struggled to stay on all four legs, coughing repeatedly, smoke persistent in her lungs. It was a female, her coat blackish gray from all the soot and ash in the surrounding area. The pup's eyes were a deep amber brown, which were glassy, hazed over in gray like the sky. On her back, was a set of small black wings, which when she unfolded them, they flopped uselessly at her sides. If any pup had been left unattended during this fire, it would have surely been killed, but throughout all the wolves fleeing their ruined home, the she-wolf had been able to stay alive, and was now making a slow and painful process towards the fallen bodies of wolves a few feet away.
The small wolf was unsure if she could make it, and her mind was constantly blacking out for a moment, leaving her lost, and then her vision would come back in. Her packmate's terrified yelps and howls sounded like static to her ears. Her whole world heaving, the pup gave a final effort and lunged forward, thudding against a fallen wolf's side. Painfully picking her head up, the pup stared through wavering vision at the face of the wolf before her. "Mom?" she whimpered quietly, digging her nose into the cold fur of the wolf. "Mom!" she yelped, nosing the cold bulk again. She couldn't be dead, she just couldn't! Suddenly the pup slightly slumped to the ground, blacking out again, but she opened her eyes, which were tired and filled with tears. "I want all the killing to stop... No more blood, no more death..." she muttered to herself quietly, letting the darkness which had been constantly trying to grab her, take over her body. Her breathing slowed, and soon, she was motionless. In the darkness, she just couldn't notice that she felt absolutely weightless.
Weightless
It has been many moons since the she-wolf's pack was attacked. The fire was all but a forgotten memory, for most, but a few. Few in number, those who had been able to flee to safety will remember that day to the end. That exact place where the fire had happened, was named "Flaming Oak Point" after how all the trees, preferable oak, had brought the misfortune on the pack which lived there. Now, all that remains is a shell of what used to be... scorched, dead trees in a circle, standing around where the pack had been killed.
Out of the remaining wolves, they were lead by the fallen Alpha's one and only offspring, their daughter. Seeking better homes, the small remainder of the pack flew to a much safer forest. They settled down in a large clearing, and staked out their territory, naming themselves the Amethyst Pack. Along with their pack, another pack lived, their territory brushing right up against the border of the destroyed pack's home. Even though both were relatively enemies, they both shared one large enemy. Diamond Astaroth
Diamond Astaroth was the Alpha of the pack who lived in the bleak mountains, far in the distance of the two pack's homes. Having a natural heart for greed and evil, he lives with only his own hand-picked assassins and killers. He named his pack The Dragon Wolf Pack, seeing that he still thought that dragons were real, and some day he would be able to summon them and put them to his power. Little did he know, that sometimes you never got what you wanted. An important rank in his pack, is a demon. There are rare occasions when Diamond Astaroth would stumble across a demonic wolf, it's eyes red with anger. This demon wolf has two powers, making them the most deadly of all wolves. These demon wolves are near Diamond Astaroth all the time, ready for any orders. If you weren't tough, then you wouldn't be able to survive in Diamond Astaroth's pack for one day. His way of seeing if you are worthy of his pack, is to see if you make it. If you die, no one really cares. It's just a live or die situation, where you only get one strike. This evil wolflord is basically immortal, very old, but is as strong and young-looking as ever. He will not rest, until all territories lay under his claw and rule.
The only hope to live a peaceful life for all of the packs, is for them to unite. But how is that possible, when every wolf pack knows that they don't mix, and they've been enemies for a long time. That is up to the packs, to find out.

- The Amethyst Pack's Territory -
Over 100 acres of land, the Amethyst Pack has tons of space to hunt. The territory is covered with mostly trees, with the occasional clearing or two. The Amethyst Pack members are adapt to hunting under the cover of treetops, and can blend into the vegetation easily.

- Flaming Oak Point -
The place where Amethyst's old camp used to be, Flaming Oak Point is a place where rumors flutter around. Many wolves say that the destroyed camp is haunted by the spirits of the wolves that were killed in the fire. Some say that they've seen shapes and figures in the scorched premises of the Flaming Oak Point, and many say that they've heard strange noises coming from that area too. It is around a mile from the Amethyst's main camp, and pups always use going into that place as a dare.

- The Obsidian Pack's Camp -
Not liking trees, the Aspen Pack's camp is a small clearing in which a few trees surround, allowing some small protection. They do not sleep in caves or dens, more hardy of the two packs. They believe that dens are dangerous. If there was a danger at the front of the den, blocking the exit, there would be nowhere to go.

- The Obsidian Pack's Territory -
The other pack, rivaling the Amethyst lives in a wide, open valley and hills. Not that many trees are around the area, mostly bush and shrub. The wolves of the Aspen Pack are very fast and do not like trees when they hunt, for the trees obscure their view and they can't hunt well. They would rather sleep under the stars than in a cave or under the trees.

- The Waterfall -
This waterfall is used by both the Aspen Pack and the Amethyst Pack. Both knowing that they didn't have that much water source, both alphas agreed that they would share the waterfall, and no fighting go on there. The pool is half a mile wide, and half a mile long.

- The Dragon Pack's Camp -
Never really used to sleeping outside, the pack members came accustomed to their home, in which they found a network of long dark tunnels and caves inside. Only the members of the Dragon Pack know the tunnel, and have a mental map of the whole camp inside their mind. Their eyes have grown accustomed to the dark, and all of them have superb senses, and are mostly active at night. They are almost never seen during the daytime, when they sleep inside their dark caves. There are a few entrances, but every one of them are known by most pack members.

Since they live in the mountains, the Dragon Pack's occupants are very skillful at climbing and jumping from rock to rock, and are very nimble on slanted surfaces. They love nothing better but having a chase after a goat or mountain lion.

- The Dragon Pack's Territory in Winter -
Winter in the mountains is very cold. Having to deal with this every single year, the Dragon Pack members have slowly adapted and have grown used to the cold, and in the winter, grow a very thick and warm fur. The ice and snow doesn't make any difference, for the Dragon Pack's wolves have very long and sharp claws, allowing them to grip the ice easily, not slipping off.

Personality: Fallen Ashes is a good leader, strong willed and strong hearted. But sometimes, she prefers to be alone. She is very strategic and good at thinking things through, and doesn't charge recklessly into battle just on impulse. But since she is so independent and strong, kind of a tomboy herself, she doesn't believe in love. And since that is true, then most of the members of the Amethyst Pack doubt that they'll ever have an Alpha Male. Troubled with her past, she also sometimes just goes out for long walks in the woods, or stays out there. Even though she hates Flaming Oak Point, she sometimes goes there, to see if she can somehow contact the spirits of her dead pack mates for help in troubled times. She is a deadly fighter, hunter, and takes some joy in training the young pups. Ash loves her pack very much, and will protect them to the death.
History: The daughter of the alphas of the destroyed pack, she leads a sad past, and doesn't like Flaming Oak Point, since it brings back memories, but that is sometimes why she goes there. To remember her past.

Personality: Aspen is a cold-blooded killer. A lethal weapon for the one to hold her in their power. People may take her pretty looks and misjudge her, thinking that she's a prissy she-wolf. I wouldn't say that in front of her. Her senses from being outside for her whole life have doubled, and she has excellent senses. Her eyes are always filled with blood lust, and she is a brilliant hunter and killer. She is very good at making herself not be seen, and is silent. Her eyes are always glittering, and you know that she's planning something every minute, every second. Aspen could never fit the job for an assassin more. Once she is given a wolf to kill, she will stop at nothing to kill or bring her target down, or even die trying, though most demon wolves are immortal.
