Nala spat the horrible tasting water out her mouth "That was so yucky!" she spat. She shook her pelt, it was now covered with mud and some things she didn't want to mention. Growling she went over to a patch of dead and dried up grass, it was sharp and prickly but she rolled in it, wiping off most of the mud.

Zira muttered once more hearing others she looked around seeing if it Was Scar of the hyenas but wasn't. She peeped over and saw way of in the distance was Simba and Nala. She smirked and looked around trying to think of what to do.

Nala bounced around "There! My fur is cleaner now!" it was still ruffled but at least it was clean "What are you waiting for?" she meowed in excitement "Let's go and explore! We can spy on the outlanders and hunt their prey!" turning she pounced onto a beetle that was scurrying across the ground.

Nala raced off into the outlands, it was much darker there and the grass was dried up, in fact there wasn't much grass at all. She turned to look around "Where should we go first?" she asked, tilting her head.
