Here is an example of a Clan:
WingClan
Leader: Raven- black she-cat with white paws and blazing green eyes
Apprentice: Pigeon- grey and white tom with blue eyes
Deputy: Birch- silver tabby tom with light blue eyes
Apprentice: Chestnut- ginger she-cat with brown eyes
Medicine Cat: Yarrow- ginger and white she-cat with amber eyes
Warriors:
Mouse- grey and white she-cat with amber eyes
Grass- ginger tom with green eyes
Apprentice: River
Holly- tabby she-cat with almost red eyes
Honey- pale ginger she-cat with blue eyes
Apprentice: Shadow
Stone- grey tom with brown eyes
Dawn- white she-cat with blue eyes
Apprentices:
Shadow- black tom with grey eyes
River- white she-cat with blue eyes
Queens:
Frost- white she-cat with green eyes, mother of Stone’s kits, Opal (grey she-cat with green eyes) and Cliff (light grey she-cat with brown eyes)
Elders:
Trunk- brown tom with green eyes
Oil- grey she-cat with greasy fur and amber eyes
When the leader dies, it's apprentice will take it's place, like a medicine cat. The same happens with the deputy and medicine cat. So this means the deputy won't take the leaders place, they are just there for support.
It's a bit like the Tribe, in a way.
Names:
Leader and Apprentices: Bird
Deputy and Apprentice: Tree
Medicine Cat and Apprentice: Herb
When a new apprentice is needed, for any of these ranks, the leader will choose one from the available kits. Then the mother will name it after what it will become.
Example: A kit will be the deputy apprentice, then the mother will call them Oak.
Hope this is clear enough!
