Damon bit his lip, slightly worried. He knew absolutely nothing of delivering pups, and here was a mother on the verge of giving birth to them. He started pacing uneasily, walking back and forth in a steady line.

Tikaani tilted his head to the side, dark eyes roving over her face as he observed her. "Hungry?" he asked suddenly. He turned slightly, then looked back over his shoulder to her. "I know of an excellent place for food."

Tikaani grinned back at her before picking up the pace and trotting into the road, growling viciously at the cars that honked and beeped at him, keeping his pace steady and unmoving. He wasn't going to stop for any human...except for this one. He slowled drastically and moved to the side, revealing a woman and a stroller, a few-month old baby inside and sleeping. Tikaani sniffed at her lightly before shaking his head and trotting again, reaching the other side of the road. He looked back at Hawk patiently, waiting for her to catch up.

Hawk skidded two a stop beside him and twitched her torn ears,"I think someone's following us" she muttered

Tikaani snarled to himself and spun, hackles raised and legs in a fighting stance, watching for the intruder. So far he didn't see anything, but he knew better than to leave it at that. There was something there, no mistake.
