Applepelt looked up as she heard approaching footsteps. Upon seeing Moonpaw, she rushed forwards. "Oh my poor dear, are you alright?" She asked, fussing over every little scratch or bump. When she saw the scar on her ear she motioned for the apprentice to settle down in one of the nest. Grabbing some marigold and cobwebs, she applied them carefully. "Did Ashstar do this?" She questioned, staring at her ear. Her eyes narrowed in anger.

Ashamed, Moonpaw looked down. As quietly as possible, the single word drifted from her mouth. "Yes..." She had no intention of getting Ashstar in trouble, for she had provkoked him, hadn't she? Moonpaw flinched back as the marigold stung her ear, but gritting her teeth she settled, doing her absolute best to remain calm and collected, despite the fact more than anything she wanted to lose it. She wished Willowshine, her mother was still alive.

Applepelt shook her head in disgust. "That tom..." She hissed. "First he exiles a kit barely out of the nursery and then he does this!" When she had finished tending to the scratch she stepped back, unsure of what to say to the young apprentice.

Personality: Bluetail seems gruff and cold to those who do not know him well, but truly his heart is just barbed and protected. He loves his daughter, but is broken by grief over the untimely death of his mate. He trusts Ashstar to protect and guide the clan.

Moonpaw shook her head. "It-- It's okay." she stuttered, her voice shallow and breaking. "I provoked him... I think. She was solemn, her blue eyes wide with the loyalty she still felt to her leader. She licked Applepelt's chest fur in thanks for tending the scratch, then sat back on her haunches.

Starpaw stuck his head into the Medicine den, looking to Moonpaw. "Are you alright?" He questioned with a tilt of his soft black head, his blue eyes twinkling with concern for his fellow apprentice.

Moonpaw looked around, eyes flashing with alarm for a moment before settling. "Yes, I'm fine." she said, her voice soft and shaky. Why was Starpaw talking to her?

"What Ashstar did was wrong." Starpaw mewed, slipping into the den and sitting acrossed from Moonpaw. He blinked slightly, confused. "You look... Surprised, or confused."
