The next morning Moonpaw was up, eyes bright and tail twitching as she gazed around the camp, eagerly looking for Sparkheart.

Ruphus woke up on the soft, feathery nest that the twolegs seemed to call a 'cat bed'. Next to him, Daisy's sides were rising and falling in the slow, constant pattern of sleep. He grinned and pounced on her tail, purring in amusement as she woke up with a shriek of surprise. He broke into a laughing fit when she fluffed out her fur, trying to look bigger. He wasn't expecting the impact of a tackle slamming into his chest, though, and he gasped for breath as he hit the ground.

Daisy stood over her friend. She batted at his ears before dancing away, purring lightly. Ruphus ran at her and she side-stepped just in the nick of time. She leapt onto his back, nibbling playfully at his ears before leaping away. As the two kits wrestled, their twoleg came in, filling up the bowl with the stale rabbit dropping-like food. She then filled a seperate bowl with the metallic water. Daisy and Ruphus raced towards the bowls, eating quickly. When they went for a drink Ruphus flicked water over Daisy and laughed as her fur clung to her small frame. She shook her pelt and pushed him into the bowl. He landed with a splash and a small giggle could be heard from the twoleg. Daisy licked up water from the bowl as Ruphus slunk away to groom his wet fur.

When Ruphus had groomed his fur dry he and Daisy went into the garden. When he saw the snowy white she-cat sitting on the fence he scrambled up. "Hi Snow!" He called excitedly. Daisy rolled her eyes and padded off.

While Ruphus talked to Snow, Daisy settled herself down into a crouch, stalking forwards using the advice the she-cat she had met the day before had given her. She also took what she had observed into consideration as well, putting her weight into her hind legs as she stalked forwards. Each step was slow and careful. As she practiced, her stalk went from being stiff to smooth as a snake, or as close as she could get.

Halffoot needed to get some catmint for Applepelt, and walked through the stubby grass of Twolegpace. She saw a kittypet in a decent crouch. "That's pretty good for a kittypet," she said looking at she-cat.

Daisy looked up. "T-thanks! A nice she-cat gave me some really good advice to help with me crouch." She purred quietly. "I've been doing my best to get it perfect, or at least decent." She scrambled to her paws and sniffed, taking in the she-cat's scent. Definetely not kittypet or loner. Maybe she's another one of those wild cats? The she-cat who helped my smelled like her. She thought.
