Berryice glanced over at flamestrike "that would be ok? Right? Maybe I should wait here with her and you can go get blackstar? I don't want to be one of those new warriors that makes a bunch of mousebrained mistakes." She glance at him, hoping he would agree to her plan.

I watched silently. warrior? blackstar? what were they talking about?

Flamestrike pinned his ears as berryice appeared. When she shuffled towards him, He thrusted himself into his little cave. He was no where near ready for her to be all kind again. "why don't you just take this cat to blackstar?" he spat, muddy fur bristled as he curled up in a ball, in his cave.

"Yea." He replied, looking at Firekit. "I'll tell him soon." He promised, gaze still locked onto the little kit's fur. Dragging his gaze back, he added "They do, but sometimes they are needed." He meowed.

Berryice frowned and blinked sadly "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." she whispered and tapping the cat on the shoulder signaled for her to follow, she was going back to camp, hopefully blackstar would take her in. She knew he would, he had taken in countless rouges before, but this one felt different, more dangerous than the others, or closer to the clan cats than than the others had been she didn't know.

Sunfall smiled and nodded "I know. I know." she whispered, so soft she barely heard it herself, she watched her kits play and lied down on the ground, slowly drifting off to sleep.

When they were gone, flamestrike got up and exit the cave. He dropped down and stalked a nearby squirrel, that was trying to sneak some food. Flamestrike darted and pounced, swiftly killing it with a blow to the neck. He brought it back to his cave and buried it in the snow to keep it safe, before he continued his hunt.

He gave a small nod. He stood by to make sure the queen fell asleep, before padding to the fresh kill pile and choosing a mouse to eat. He kept an eye on all the kits because he knew that Sunfall would be tierd from watching all the kits.

"I know where to get some." She purred. She padded over to the warrior's den and made sure no one was looking before goning to the first nest and taking a little bit of moss. "I found some." She purred with a mouthful of moss.

Stonepaw smiled a huge smile and mewed excitedly "Oooh! Good! Ok, now we can play. We will stand in a triangle, like this and pass the ball this way." He mewed pointing in the direction to his right "so we will all be prepared for the ball to come. Oh! Oh! And and loser has to help Sunfall with cleaning out dens for the next three times." He said , his eyes shining hoping hey would agree with them.

"Okay, and I'm gonna win this." She teased her siblings. "I'll stand here and pass the moss to you first," She pointed at Firekit with her tail. "Then you pass it around the triangle." She purred, pleased. She hooked the moss ball on her claw and flung it at Firekit.
Firekit
He wasn't so keen to play any more, but he couldn't back down now. He saw the moss ball coming towards hims and he calmed himself a little. He barely caught the moss ball and he tossed it over to Stonekit. "Catch." He meowed.
