After the fight, Firestar just laid down on the forest floor watching his dead daughter's body lay limp on the floor. He got up and walked over to Pinepaw and tried to comfort her.
" I can't believe that just happened. But it is all right. This was her destiny. I guess it was her time to go."

Wolfpaw padded towards the camp entrance. She knew that really, she was supposed to tell somebody where she was going, or at least have another cat with her, but she wanted some alone time. She hadn't walked very far before she scented blood. "What-" She burst through the bushes and saw her Clanmates, and two dead badgers. Her eyes fell on Bramblepaw's body and she stared in shock. Sh-She just became an apprentice today...StarClan! Why did you claim her so young?

Nightfur tried to help Pinepaw the best he could.

Firestar started dragging Bramblpaw's body to the camp. When he got there, he set down her body and looked for Mouseheart.

Wolfpaw turned away. I should've been here. I could have helped Bramblepaw. We could've been friends. She stood next to Pinepaw instead. "Here. Lean on my shoulder." Between her and the warrior, they should be able to get him back to camp/
