From rage to understanding, Brackentwist listened silently as Tigerstar spoke, cold eyes watching Wolfpaw be led off and shortly after Cinderpaw storming from camp looking as if she'd found out she were being replaced. He wasn't one to comfort, but right now he needed the clan to keep their heads on straight and with the threat of Foxes Cinderpaw couldn't be worried over a petty jealousy.

His large paws silent, the massive ark tom cat followed Cinderpaw as her oversized shadow, not particularly hiding but taking care not to startle her. The soft thud of her sitting was accompanied by furious trembling, something that would've left any other cat annoyed or amused. Yet Brackentwist was neither, he was actually embarrassed. Moving forward, he sat beside her with his plumy tail curled neatly around his haunches, the tip flicking against his forelegs. He was silent, giving her a moment to think before speaking.

Voice rumbling as always, his permanent scowl in place, he started out bluntly. "You're worrying over nothing. Wolfpaw won't be allowed to become a Medicine Cat Apprentice."

(Ah it's fine, my posts are a lil crappy too. ((am i allowed to say crappy?)) I'm feeling a lil better so hopefully I'll be on more often. (:

Songcatcher gave a flick of her ears and a half hearted smile. Brightpaw's complaint was accurate- even the large grey and white she-cat was beginning to feel sore. Having no rival clans around to keep them on their toes, Mistclan's cats were slightly out of shape. Thoughts rambled through her mind about how the Loner would assume the group of cats to be weak and untrained, but her silent inner babbling was cut off with a sense of relief as the murmurs of other cats and the gurgling of water came from up ahead. Songcatcher slide glanced at the feline. "We're here. Keep up." She muttered, and though she didn't look at her again, her eager ears swiveled towards the Loner to hear the answer to Brightpaw's question as they made their way towards the camp's woven thistle entrance. What was her name?

Feathertail looked to Tigerstar and shrugged, wincing as her shoulder begun to sting again. "I'm certainly not in good shape, but I can manage until a medicine cat can get around to me," the she-cat meowed, knowing that she probably wouldn't be able to bear the pain much longer, but she would if she had to. She then turned her attention to Moonfire who had approached her and told her to come with him. She hobbled after him to be treated, relieved, but she certainly didn't like the idea of having herbs all over her body.
When she had been treated, she stood outside the medicine cat den, scanning the camp for her apprentice. Once she seen him, the she-cat wobbled over to him. As she got to the apprentice, she bent down and gently nuzzled his forehead before mewing softly, "Are you able to walk if I guide you to the medicine cat den? You need to have your eyes looked at." Her concerned gaze swept over her apprentice, who looked frightened and in pain.

Jaypaw watched as Moonfire went to the medicine cat den to treat Feathertail, and he reluctantly followed him. He payed close attention to what herbs the medicine cat was applying to her wounds and how he was using them. The tom followed Moonfire out of the apprentice, brushing past Tigerstar as the leader came in to have her tail checked out. He watched as his new mentor exited the camp and began the journey to the mooncave. Jaypaw ate some Burnet, which was a traveling herb. He sighed, and got some sticks and bindweed, knowing that something was wrong with Moonfire's ribs, and it looked like it was broken. He also got some Burnet for Moonfire, and wrapped some cobwebs around one of his paw. Finally, he got some Dock for the medicine cat's scratches, then he hurried off after Moonfire, carrying a bunch of herbs and hobbling off on three paws. Though his voice was muffled, he managed to call out to the tom, "Fwait, let mwee help you wif your woundfs!"

((Sorry!!! Omg, Real life caught up and kicked me onto my butt 0.0 and now school is starting in a week...ugh!))

Moonfire turned around when Jaypaw called out, hearing his apprentices pawsteps in the ground, he smiled when he saw why his voice was muffled "you have a good eye Jaypaw, Noticing my ribs were broken" he told the young Tom, before he turned to start walking back towards the mooncave "I will stop by the creek and you can patch me up then, I look forward to seeing you at work" he said over his shoulder...
They soon came to the creek, he sat down with a sigh and then lay on his side, stretching out to allow better access to his ribs

(I'm really, really sorry guys, but I don't think I will be able to keep up with this RP anymore. School hasn't even started for me yet and I'm already packed with homework, and I if I try to cling to MistClan any longer, I'll be more of a burden than an asset to this RP. Please delete Will/Strongpaw, and I apologize profusely if my suddenness in quitting causes disruption; I just can't keep up with this anymore. It's been wonderful roleplaying with all you guys. Goodbye. <3)

I'm sorry you have to leave. To be honest, once school starts I'm not sure how often I'll be on either. It's my senior year, and I really need to keep my grades up for University if I plan to get into nursing. But I'll try and reply as often as time allows, which will most likely be weekends and whatnot. So I definitely agree with Legolas, the homework will be a challenge. Especially since I've got Bio and Chem in the same semester..
As of right now tho, I can't post because no one has replied to my characters yet x3 )

Feathertail sighed, watching helplessly as her apprentice sightlessly made his way to the medicine cat den. The she-cat could feel tears yanking at her eyes, but she blinked them back. She didn't want any cat to see her crying. She trudged into the medicine cat den after Wolfpaw quietly, looking around the den for the medicine cat den. She then focused her gaze back to Wolfpaw worriedly.

Jaypaw followed his mentor, feeling a little calmer now about having the tom as his mentor, but he still didn't like the fact he wasn't Clan-blood. Once they stopped, he organized his herbs. Then he picked up the Burnet and brought it over to Moonfire. "It's Burnet, to help you keep your strength up as we travel. I already had some, though." The young tom then took the cobwebs and wrapped it gently around where it appeared the broken rib was. Then he took the bindweed and wrapped some of it around the cobwebs to keep it in place. The tom chewed up the Dock and applied it to the medicine cat's scratches, then looked around the area, meowing, "I didn't have any room for poppy seeds, and so I was hoping there would be some around where we were going to be." He turned and wandered away to find some poppy seeds. Relief flooded over him when his gaze landed on the poppy seeds. He took them back to Moonfire and gave them to him. He waited expectantly for what he had to say about his healing procedures.

Moonfire smiled at Jaypaw "Good! Now, Willow bark, A little bit, Is also good for pain, and doesn't make you sleepy, unlike poppy seeds " he explained, as he stood and walked over to a willow tree, he scratched off a small pieced and showed it to Jaypaw "this part" he gesture to the softer part on the inside of the bark, not the tough outside "that is what you eat" he said to him, and then thought over what he had done " but other then that, well done, Your old mentor taught you well" he told the Young tom, purring happily and then he ate the chunk of willow bark, grimacing at the taste "Are we going? or am I continuing alone?" he asked, staning up and heading towards Mooncave once again, his ribs feeling slightly better

(( Soo I am stuck on my e-reader from now until about mid October, mostly because our laptop died... lol, so yup, sorry for not having fancy posts ))
