Ice gazed around, her tail held high and her neck stretched up. She scented the air, her nose twitching at the smell of mouse. She padded a little bit away, creeping close to the prey on silent paws.

Bird tasted the air and flicked her tail. She caught a faint scent of mousel

Frost scented the air taking in the mountain air. She scented faint vole off a ways and flicked her tail, wondering if it was to far too go after.

Feather watched the sky, then looked at her mentor. Her mind was already running through possible things that could go wrong.

Wolf picked up the hawk and began to trot. "Can you take that wing?" he mumbled to Hoot.

Bird scented a stronger mouse smell and crept through the undergrowth.

Cloud dropped back to walk beside Feather 'Now, when we see a eagle or hawk or any other large bird, i want you to jump onto its wing, not at the base, just right on top of it if you can, if you are on the wing then it wont be able to take off.'

Hawk stopped beside a small stream and leaned his head down to drink, still sensing no sign of Song.

Frost shrugged and scented the air again, smelling mouse down the cliff face a bit. She turned and headed down it in search of the mouse.

Hoot smiled and jumped at the wing then picked it up in her jaws and began carrying it with Wolf.

Wolf trotted back to the cave, smiling at Hoot. When they reached the cave he laid it down on the prey pile.

Song watched Hawk from a clump of bracken. Slowly she crept out into the open, hoping her pale brown pelt would blend in with the surrounding dusty rocks as she scrambled towards a stunted pine tree that was surrounded by tough bushes.

Bird crept towards a mouse, her tail flicking.

Hawk lifted his head and scented the air, smelling Song but, not yet hearing or seeing her. So far, she was doing pretty well.

Frost saw the mouse under a stubby bush and crouched down and pouncing. She hooked it with her paw and quickly killed it before climbing back up the cliff face.

Hoot smiled as Wolf laid the hawk on the fresh-kill pile. She crouched down and wiggled her haunches playfully "Yeah! I have the best mentor in the world!" she said
