Wolf twitched his ears. "Once the hawk comes, I'll show you how to defend cats from it. Pretend the mice are our Tribemates, and the hawk is coming to attack while they are hunting." just as he spoke, a large bird appeared on the horizon. "Hide until it comes near." he told Hoot.

Pike squeezed his eyes shut and hoped Sky would be okay.

Storm flicked his tail. "Not exactly," he replied to Pine. "You can use these on other predators and rogues too. But when fighting off a hawk or the like, it's somewhat different. With a hawk, your completely focused on winning and killing it, but you still want to defend yourself. And hawks are a bit easier, sometimes they'll fly away after they've had enough. With a rogue, your mostly focused on not getting killed and defending you and others. You shouldn't kill a cat unless the only option is death," he explained.

Ice crouched down, leaning to the side as Sky gently slid off of her back.

Pine nodded 'ok, can you show me?'

Hawk nodded to Song "Very well." he said "You go off and hide, then i'll start walking around and i want you to see if you can follow me, stay hidden, and attack without me hearing or seeing any sign of you." he told her

Frost followed in last from the patrol pulling the hawk in behind her. She set it near the other prey and padded over to Sky "Has he woken up yet?" she asked anyone who would answer.

Hoot nodded and crouched down, thankful for her dark brown pelt that hid her well against the rocky outcrop. She kept her eyes on the large bird and her ears perked for instruction from Wolf when it came.

Pike twitched his ears.

Wolf fixed his eyes on the hawk. It drew closer and closer until it was on the ledge below them. "Now!" he yowled, leaping onto its back. "Try to stay on its back and immobilize its wings. That way, it cannot fly away or throw you off."
