Frost saw Sky start to walk out toward the rabbit. She flicked her tail for him to move back and stay out of sight after Ice had called his name.

"Are you calling me fat?" She asked quietly, only half joking. But she took the words to heart, her eyes locked on the bird.

Sky lifted his head slightly when Ice called his name. He flicked his tail, not thinking to look above him. But suddenly he heard a loud screech, and looked up to see a massive hawk diving towards him. Letting out a shriek, he tried to leap out of the way, but let out a yowl when he felt the hawk's talons dig into his sides. "Help!" He yowled.

Ice stepped forward. She wasn't a cave-gaurd but she did know how to fight.... And besides, she wasn't just going to stand back. Looking down at her paws, she flexed her claws in and out, before bounding forward.

Feather started to panic when she heard Sky's yowl. She looked to Cloud, before turning towards the giant hawk who was quickly gaining height. "I-I'm coming!" She called uncertainly, racing forward and giving everything she had into a single leap, but she only caught the tip of the hawk's wing.

Sky was writhing and struggling, yowling in terror and pain. "Help! Please don't let it kill me!" He screeched, desperately trying to claw at his attacker.

Ice stopped, trying to dodge it's wings. She reared up on her hind legs, ignoring the pain as it's wing beat against her face. Managing to grab its wing in her jaws, she bit down hard, pulling with all of her might.

Frost gasped in shock as the hawk caught hold of Sky. "Sky!" She yowled worriedly before bunching her legs and springing on top of the great bird and bit down onto the back of its neck.

Feather was in a panic. She watched in horror as the two prey-hunters brought the big hawk down.

Sky had stopped struggling, and was limp in the hawk's talons as Ice and Frost brought it down. His chest was heaving, and blood flowed down his sides.

Ice let go of the Hawk's wing, hearing a crunching sound and feeling blood ooze around her jaws. She looked down at Sky. "Are you okay?" she asked quickly, waving her paw in front of his face.

Frost quickly jumped off of the hawk and looked at Sky. "We need to get him to Stoneteller." She said.

[Whitefang.]

Pike watched with horror. "Sky! Please wake up!" he yowled, touching his nose to his mentor's pelt. He angrily retracted his claws, not caring that they were covered with blood and fragments of feathers.

Song followed Hawk out. "What are we doing today?" she asked.

Wolf pricked his ears and trotted out, checking that Hoot was following.
