Lionpaw opened his mouth to talk but quickly shut it. This warrior was challenging him, he purred. He wasn't sure he could beat a warrior, but hunting was definitely his strong suit. Fighting took too much energy from him, and he usually got sick afterwards. Hunting was different. It was something special. He followed Tigerlily through the camp entrance and immediately scented the air. The smells of the forest flooding his nostrils. "You think you can even catch a squirrel?" The tom teased playfully.
Silverpaw stared in complete and utter shock as her mentor, her mentor, tackled the young apprentice to the ground. "Stop!" She shrieked. She didn't want to sound scared, but this didn't seem like the Puresoul she knew. Suddenly, she wasn't scared either. She was a bit angry. Why was he listening to her conversations? Does he think she can't handle herself now? "I had the situation under control." She mewed harshly. Though Tigerpaw was a good-for-nothing kit, just like the deputy, she didn't want Puresoul to think she couldn't handle herself.
