Snow Boot thought when a sudden coolness on his head made him jerk down. It was water. "Must be a hole in the roof..." He looked through the cave opening. "And that would explain the wetness... It's raining. I'll be right back with an answer. I have to inform Blaze about this." Snow Boot ran off.

Jewel decided that she shouldn't be mad at Snow bOot for running off.
He was, maybe, trying to protect Jewel from getting sick.
Jewel sighed and smiled.
Maybe he does love me! she thought. I hope he does!

Snow Boot returned, panting. "Okay, I'm back." He smiled shyly and sweetly. "I'd like to be your boyfriend." He grinned toothily.

Dj wondered what life would be like if he didn't always feel sorry for himself and got some confidence,*sigh* "I'm acting like a scared pup."

Snow Boot returned, panting. "Okay, I'm back." He smiled shyly and sweetly. "I'd like to be your boyfriend." He grinned toothily.

Jewel couldn't hold it in any longer then 1 millesecond.
She jumped all around Snow Boot and sang and twirled.
"SNOW BOOT LOVES ME!" she sang, still dancing and twirling. "SNOW BOOT REALLY REALLY LOVES ME!"
She soon got dizzr from twirling and fell on the ground.
"I'm okay!" she said standing up.
She looked at Snow Boot happily.
"Thank you!" she said again.
She suddenly frowned.
She had the bad thought in her head again.

Snow Boot laughed then got worried. "What's the matter?" He asked.

"Well...." Jewel said hesitantly. "It's just that........."
She sighed.
"Sense you're now my boyfriend, I'll tell you my secret." Jewel said.
"When you died, it broke my heart. I couldn't believe that you died, so I was misreable. Until then you came back. And I was joyful. But then I started to worry..... worry about you...... dieing again. I've worried about that ever sense you've come back. I just don't want to lose you again."
Jewel sighed and waited for Snow Boot to replie.

Snow Boot smiled, sadly. "Although it will be a long time until me or you both die, why worry? Why not just enjoy the time we spend together while we have it, other than feeling sorry that someday it will be no more." He looked down at his paws. "Wouldn't you agree?"
