"Listen." Cam whispered.

Blaze waited until all of the dogs sat down to speak. "Well, as you all know the colder weather is coming fast, and the weather in the alleys would be extremely harsh on us, so we have a plan to move to the forest. I felt I should not make a decision quite this big without you all included, so speak up now. Who thinks we should stay, and who thinks we should go?"

Crystal thought then stood up. "We should stay! For the sake of the pups, we don't want them to freeze to death."

Snow Boot stood up and barked. "We should stay here! We've survived winter before! This is our home, and the heavy snow in the forest wouldn't make our lives easier, would it?"

Kallik sat, dumbfounded for an answer.

Blaze counted silently. "That apparently isn't all of you....We need everyone's opinion on this."

Jackie stood up. "We should stay...Going to the forest would do more harm than good!"

Kallik sat and sighed. "We should go."

"Either way we'll be fine!" Rush barked, neutral as always.

Cam thought. "Rush is right."
