"There must really be peace between the Clans right now if Father didn't send a warrior after us," Brackenpaw meowed, quickly glancing at Bramblestar. "I wish I could go visit one of the other Clans. That sound so interesting," he meowed. "Let's go back out into the forest. I want to talk to you without warriors eavesdropping," Brackenpaw said as he stood up and headed toward the bramble entrance.

Shadowpaw nodded in agreement, and padded after Brackenpaw and through the tunnel. She breathed in the forest smell once more! Then followed Brackenpaw, muscles rippling under her long, shining fur.

After they came to a solitary spot in the forest, Brackenpaw stopped. "I wanted to ask you, wouldn't it be fun to try and visit another Clan? I mean, the Clans are at peace right now, so it shouldn't be to hard to visit another Clan. I'm sure it's probably a bad idea, but I want to try."
