Blackclaw slept.

Silverfur paced nervously, concerned for her clan, and wondering how Blackclaw could possibly sleep at a time like this.

Willowfoot began to wonder what Darkthorn was up to.

Larkfoot padded into the elders den.Dipper her head in greetings, she let out a mrrow of laughter. " Silverfur, why so nervous? Are your joints hurting again? I can fix that!" She began to exit the den.

"I'm nervous for the rest of the clan. Fox are trouble, especially when it's defending kits. Back in my day, we killed fox for breakfast. Cats these day are like kittypets." Silverfur said.

Blackclaw woke up. "You keep pacing and your likely to put a hole in the floor. Sit. Your making me dizzy. Anyways, we were nervous about hunting fox when we were young. I remember the time a rabbit jumped out of a bush and you went straight up a tree."

"Oh be quiet." Silverfur sat down, looking indignant.

" Oh No FOX!!!!! I-I am low on herbs!This is BAD!" Larkfoot kneaded the ground. Pushing that away she asked the elders. " So any ticks?Aching joints? Couching?"

(Larkfoot tends to heal cats better when she's nervous)

Blackclaw thought for a minute. "I do have a tick, right between my shoulders."

Larksong nodded. " I'll go get the Mouse Bile." Quickly, she took moss and mouse bile and returned to the elders. Padding up to behind Blackclaw she removed the tick.

Blackclaw purred. "Thanks. Now don't everyone go getting there fur in a twist. They'll be fine." Blackclaw didn't mention he noticed the apprentices were missing. Silverfur and Larksong didn't need anything else to make them edgy.
