Skyleap smiled faintly and felt his heartbeat speed up when he looked at her, "Whitestar, there's something I've been meaning to tell you for a few days now. After the waterfall I realized that I want you to know just in case something else happens to me, I want you to know that I love you. I guess I've always liked you, you're funny, smart, beautiful, and strong. You're perfect. I thought I was going to die after falling down the waterfall, but you're voice brought me out of darkness and made me want to get better. Whitestar, you complete me." He stated and blushed.

Whitestar stopped. Her thoughts began to go light speed. She liked Blackwhisker. Skyleap liked her. Blackwhisker liked Silentblaze. Could she love Skyleap? He was a great friend, and a wonderful deputy, but could he be her suitable mate? She did like him, and enjoyed his company. And digging deep... "I love you too." She told him.

Skyleap panicked as she took a while to think and relaxed slightly when he heard her reply. He paused and looked at her seriously, "I want you to be happy. Do you really love me?" He replied softly.

"Yes... Well, I think so..." She hestitated, and closed her eyes, trying to shut out the whirlwind of thoughts.

Skyleap nodded, "Okay. Just take your time." He murmured.

She looked at Skyleap sadly. She didn't want to hurt him. "It's just... I like Blackwhisker... But he likes Silentblaze anyway... I think I like you too... I'm just... Just... So confused..." Now she was upset. A tear trickled down her cheek.

Skyleap paused before nodding his head, "Just take all the time in the world to think about it. Just make sure what you decide is best for you and makes you happy." He calmly replied and gave a weak smile.

Whitestar pressed her head against his neck and sobbed. She didn't usually cry, but now she couldn't stop. Right now, she just wanted someone to give her comfort. "Oh Skyleap.." She whispered. "I feel alone..."
